Learning to live with remote work options
2020 saw many changes in the IT staffing industry and working from home was at the forefront. While remote work has its benefits like cost savings and comforts of home, it definitely has some short comings. Remote work for some creates an isolated, distracting and less focused environment. Humans are inherently social and thrive while interacting with others. We value the line between personal and professional life and tend to be more efficient when not distracted by activities at home. Companies will need to find the balance between home and office for their employees going forward.
